Monthly Stats Webinar Series

Starting in January February 2026, I will be offering a free monthly webinar series. This series will be aimed at people who work with statisticians, and will cover basic (and sometimes advanced!) concepts related to statistics, data, and research, using language a non-statistician can understand.

The purpose is not to learn how to perform analyses, but (1) to develop a more solid foundation for understanding statistical reasoning, and (2) to prepare to work with a statistician/analyst/data scientist.

The first webinar will take place on Wednesday, February 18 at 1:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. The topic will be Forming Collaborative Relationships with Statisticians. In this webinar, I will describe a framework for creating a strong working relationship between a researcher/subject matter expert and a statistician. This framework will serve as a basis for my approach to all future topics. If you are new to working with a statistician, this webinar will help you understand what to expect. You can sign up for the February webinar directly by following this link.

Future webinars will include topics like thinking about different types of data, understanding p values, choosing appropriate analyses, forming research questions, and approaching repeated measures, among others.

If you are interested in receiving updates and emails about all future webinars, please enter your name and email address in the form below. If you have any difficulty, you can access a mobile-friendly version here. I will not sell your information and will only contact you with webinar-related announcements.
