Monthly Stats Webinar Series

I am offering a free monthly webinar series throughout 2026. This series is aimed at people who work with statisticians, and will cover basic (and sometimes advanced!) concepts related to statistics, data, and research, using language a non-statistician can understand.

The purpose is not to learn how to program or perform analyses, but (1) to develop a more solid foundation for understanding statistical reasoning, and (2) to prepare to work with a statistician/analyst/data scientist.

The next webinar will take place on Wednesday, March 18 at 3:00 pm Eastern Standard Time. The topic will be Thinking About Data. Did you know that the *type* of data you are collecting (numeric, categorical, and all kinds of subtypes) is one of the major deciding factors in the type of statistical analysis you can use? So is the way that you collect that data! Please join me to learn more about how a statistician or data scientist might think about your data in the context of a collaborative project. You can sign up for the March webinar directly by following this link.

Note that this webinar will have a partner to follow next month on designing a research question, which is the other major deciding factor in the analyses that you may choose to use.

If you are interested in receiving updates and emails about all future webinars, please enter your name and email address in the form below. If you have any difficulty, you can access a mobile-friendly version here. I will not sell your information and will only contact you with webinar-related announcements.
